I'm sorry, this thing is garbage. I'm voting no.
I really didn't think, considering the economic situation of each airline, they would try to touch pay rates....This is insulting.
I think the big 800lb gorilla in the room is a merger with Piedmont. I'm a mid seniority FO, a Piedmont merger would effectively stall my career 10 years.
There are too many unknowns in this "agreement" to warrant a yes vote vs the CONCESSIONS we will be handed.

So after reding then TA I failed to see where it mentioned the large RJ as growth. Do you guys have it in writing that they are growth?
And it's a B scale for future pilots and those that interview and not hired. You vote this in after the next pilot group is faced with more concessions based on you they will be back and offer you either more RJ or to place everyone on the 12 year scale including senior captains to keep your current fleet size. You give them again specially after they signed a contract 6 months ago and they continue to come back for more. Hesse called the race to the bottom.
What is the union spin on this TA?

Haha good question. Well both are basically 4 year FO pay in which PSA still tops out higher but the CA side of things RAH has 18 years plus if you are going to make it a career. However work rules and a few other items there is no comparison that PSA still has a BETTER contract and work rules then RAH...... No work rules are being proposed to change.
Also this is CLEARLY USairways management that proposed this deal. They started by offering a b scale and saying according to the NC, "Well why do you care about those hired after you sign this deal?" As the NC said they are the type if they can save a penny but must cut your throat and or lose a life long friendship they will.... It is my understanding that PSA management was on the side and had very little to do with this. Thus all the work rules that probably mean MORE money then capping a pay scale are kept in place..... They could have done more damage by going after critical day, live vacation trading, 4 hour HRV credit etc....... Our schedule adjustment window etc.... But they are only concerned about one thing and thats making PSA, AE, and PDT (if all three stay around for the new AA) a stepping stone and thus capping pay to make certain more leave before year 12.

You all continue to use the term B SCALE incorrectly. This is BY DEFINITION of the ALPA not a B SCALE. What UAL had and AA proposed in the early 80's was BY DEFINITION a B SCALE. Use the words right is all I'm asking. You can call this a pile of GORILLA POO and I dont care. But those who are ignorant and use words like SCAB etc incorrectly in this industry are doing as much damage as an airline setting a bad standard....
A new hire who upgrades by year 2 and never sees year 13 at PSA has taken no pay cut.... You may not like that answer but it is the truth. Now the pilot who is getting screwed would be the year 3-4 FO on property who once we get the first airplane is frozen until upgrade and or the 13-17 year CA who is the same.... Those are the ones getting a punch in the gut. That is for them to decide. However to FALSELY use the word B SCALE continues to show ignorance by this generation of pilots and thus acceptance of using powerful words in our industry incorrectly.
PSA ON PROPERTY CA PSA NOT ON PROPERTY CA
Year 1 60 Year 1 40
Year 2 62 Year 2 41
Year 3 65 Year 3 42
Year 4 68 Year 4 47
That by ALPA and definition would be a B SCALE.
A scab would be one who crosses a picket line.... Although we hate it by definition those who went to GoJets are not scabs. They never crossed a picket line. If you look at CAL you might see a few scabs there that INDEED CROSSED a picket line.... The Spirit strike had a at least two SCAB pilots fly while they were on strike.....
Just use the damn words correctly. Its a POS fine I'm ok with calling it that.....

Dude quit drinking the koolaid. It's a b scale. Captain A currently on 13 year pay...grand fathered in and retains 13 year pay. Captain B currently on year 11 and capped at 12. Two pilots. Two different pay scales. Follow? Just because it doesn't start at the bottom of the pay scale and instead starts at the top of the pay scale doesn't mean it's not a b-scale. A sh-t sandwich by any other name is still a sh-t sandwich. Don't try and spin it or rationalize it. Just admit your voting yes for a b-scale and concessions and own up to the fact you're a disgrace to all airline pilots. Your sjs is disgusting and thank you for leading the way to the bottom. Psa is the usain bolt in the race to the bottom. Congrats, pariah.

The lower the bar, the worse the profession is. As it stands now, the common excuse is Pinnacle as the new standard, soon it will be PSA, then the next who goes just a little bit lower and so on. They will push the envelope as far as pilots will let them push it.

They aren't spinning it really. Its up for each individual to decide and they respect the decision of the pilot group. They stated over and over they are there to get what they deem the best deal possible. They continue to state that when dealing with USairways management team directly that USairways means business and that is all this is to them. They see DOLLARS but fail to understand work rules etc that would cost more.....
