The other 2K after 6 months, if I recall correctly.

Benefits kick in at 60 days.
Ask a 6 year FO on the 175 at RAH what he makes???
You'll make more during traing at PDT. Especially when you look at the total package.

Yes I was able to have my own apartment and pay bills and still go out on weekends and crush it.

I had offers from PSA and PDT. Piedmont's outstation basing is what killed it for me. If they had even 1 hub base that would of made the decision to go to PSA much more difficult. As it is now, PSA has been a great place to be so far.

And as far as being a CA doing sim training, I think you just have to have the seniority to be able to bid for it (or something like that). And I believe they will let you do the 30 days of sim / 30 days flying the line rotation they do for the ground instructors.

I think the opportunity to become a ground instructor to offset first year pay is extremely enticing... If it weren't in DAY. That place sucked the soul out of me after being there for over a month. Now if it were in CLT, it'd be a different story.

You must have at least 2 years of CRJ and airline experience to quality as a sim instructor. The only reason why new hires are going straight to the sims is because of their prior airline and CRJ experience.

Are the majority of the lines commutable, for say CLT and possibly TYS? As in are you able to get or arrange via SAP a late show and reasonably early end time? Looking to "same day" commute as much as possible. I would be doing a one leg in from MEM or BNA. Trying to do as much homework as possible before getting into something that doesn't work well for me. Cannot move anywhere for the foreseeable future due to family circumstances.

Late show and early end times don't exist unless you like high-speeds. Average TAFB in CLT is about 79 hours for a 4-day.

I guess to be specific, are their any trips that would allow me to commute in, the day the trip starts, and go home the end of the 4th day, using the flights in the attached pic. Similar flights out of MEM as well.

I do not commute, but I know that a lot of people do, and they don't seem to mind it too much.

I typically try for early starts on the first day.

The late(commutable) start trips generally end around 21:30.

If a trip ends at 930pm(CLT trips don't end later than 930 usually) on the last day it might start around 100pm on the first day. Or a trip might start at 930am on the first day and end at 500pm on the last day. This is typical and specific to CLT. Last push of the night is at 1030pm.
