The delay is over since we reduced class size. 5.5 weeks indoc, 2 for sims and 2 for Ioe. I'd say 3 months total training footprint.

Truth, I just finished and it took me 5.5 months from Indoc to IOE complete and I have talked with guys all the way through September that are right on my heals.

Why would we want to leave clt until we know how many lines cvg will have and what reserve call out will be. We barely got any information other than its initial size. Thats a failure on their part for not communicating with us again. Maybe I should check the Facebook page it's probably all on there.
I'm struggling to think why anyone would bid from CLT to CVG. It's less commutable, and there's probably going to be a lot of reserve to start with. The only thing that would make sense is if someone lived around CVG and wanted to have a base at home, but those people were already at DAY because it's still pretty close to home. So of course that was going to be the base that took the hit, and of course there would have to be displacements to fill it.
This really shouldn't have been a surprise. What did they expect when they have a bunch of ex-Comair guys who live in CVG (and who probably came here because of the DAY base)?

There y'all go using all that sense and logic. You know those have no place in Dayton.

Probably not yet. Not with the projected numbers we need, and the planes that are still coming.

Spring hire, holding build-up line in Day, reserve in Clt. Things have slowed and I'm not surprised. Why would anyone come here when you can go to another regional for more pay, better bases and better contract. Psa claims the "quick" upgrade will get people here in droves; they need to change their thinking. Pay and quality of life are huge. More planes and flow is not the main attraction anymore.
