There's never been a better time to jump ship at PSA! Vote with your feet.
I don't think it's that easy to go from regional FO with under 2 years at a 121 to Spirit or JetBlue....just saying...

Last I heard a few months back you had to have 4000 to be able to talk to spirit at a job fair.

You people dont get it!

Bluffing? Tell that to Envoy pilots who saw CRJs go from Envoy to PSA. Or the E-145s to the likes of TSA, Expressjet, and Piedmont. And to think Envoy was/is overstaffed. Or what flying Envoy, Wisconsin and PSA are covering for Republic. What makes you even think for a second that will be the case?

No one is talking about furloughing people. Well keep what we can staff just not gain any planes. We may trade 900s for 200s and just stay around 100 airframes. We staff those and bring in just enough new hires to keep it going. We're still a cheap 100 airplane airline. Just upgrades will be slow and reserve will be long.

In case you new hire candidates can't read between those lines,...... don't come to PSA. And if you were recently hired at PSA, you should seriously consider jumping ship NOW.

No growth, no upgrades, years on reserve, lousy pay, and a Doug Parker who would rather threaten, intimidate, and bully his wholly-owned pilot groups than try to work toward a mutually beneficial solution to a dire staffing situation.

if you want to play, if you are a psa/pdt pilot and still want someday if the flow works to go to aa then run the numbers if they work for you then go to envoy, get the bonus money and sit and ride the wave until it stops. you will be about 20k ahead over 2 years at envoty from psa and pdt.

Going to any place for a flow at this point is a bad idea. 20K and Envoy pay is still a lot less than other non wholly owns are being paid. Most qualified pilots will probably have no problem getting hired in the future so they might as well work at a place that pays then what they are worth and that is none of the wholly owns. Plus QOL at all of the wholly owns is horrible at well. Why ride the **** wave at Envoy?

I don't think he can pull them from psa to elsewhere like he did from envoy. Who will staff them? The only reason psa was able to staff was because there were a lot of 8 year low paid fos at other regionals looking to jump to psa for growth and a quick upgrade. Where else is that the case now?
