When you said 12-15 years flow, did you mean as a FO upgrading to a FO at AA or did you mean that just in general?

*EFBs 1st quarter 2016.
*$5,000 bonus
*No AQP program here but that is supposedly in the works.
*Beginning January we start flowing 5 /month and that goes up to a maximum of 8 /month depending on how many active CAs we have. We go back to the negotiating table summer 2016 to revisit the flow LOAs and many expect the number to increase.
*1 more new base to be announced 1st quarter 2016. I'm betting ORD or DCA, but who knows honestly. I think it will be a hub because management knows that hubs attract commuters and they will need to attract as many new hires as they possibly can.
*You CAN flow without upgrading. It is currently projected at like 12-15 years (maybe less, I honestly don't really know) for a new hire. I wouldn't come to PSA for the flow. I would come here to upgrade quickly, hold a line quickly, or for whatever reason is important for you. I wouldn't look at the flow as a guaranteed mainline job as a new hire, I would look at it as a tool that will generate movement and upgrades and should hopefully keep PSA from becoming stagnant. Constant movement is important.
*Currently accepting a few CRJ900s a month for most of 2016 and the. 4th quarter we are supposed to resume the transfer of the Envoy 700s. There have been rumors however that the Envoy 700s will be further deferred in order for AAG to exercise the remaining options it has for 900s. I would expect a lot of those scenarios to play themselves out over the course of 2016 and they will be dependent on our ability to staff.

He meant there's 1200 pilots and 60 a year get to go to American. There are caveats for 96 a year. The whole program has only been in place for 2 years and will be changed again before it turns 3. So the projections for the bottom of the list really can't be calculated due to variable change.

If I were you I'd ignore the flow carrot. It's really a program for retention not recruiting.
If you remove the lifers and the guys hired since 07 there really aren't very many quality people "stuck" regionals. In fact I have yet to meet a pilot with the all the boxes checked, and no dirty laundry, hired prior to 07 whose phone hasent rang.

Except that you can't apply to American while you're at PSA. So you might as well count out getting hired at one of the major airlines while you're a PSA pilot. At least until you flow after 12 years. The fact that American wholly owns PSA but does not allow their pilots to apply outside the flow is beyond me. You're worse off going to a non WO. And don't think that will be renegotiated as the contract is valid for another 8 years.

That was changed in this last agreement. You have old data.

That's not what I was told in my interview on dec 22nd... Captain in the interview explicitly told me that. If that's not the case, then it's better for PSA, but the interview staff should know better

I hear low time guys interviewing with PSA ~ 3 months before they're projected to hit their 121 mins and getting a seniority date. Are those guys really held more senior than someone who is offered and accepts a job today?

If so, how far out will PSA recruiting offer a seniority date/number before you get to training?

You get a seniority date the first day of class. The oldest person (by birthdate) is the most senior, the youngest is the most junior.

No one gets a seniority date before the first day of class.
