I think roughly 1 year to hold a round 2 in Charlotte. They are still actively adding lines and it will increase coming into the high tide of summer travel. Anyway, sorry to see you go and best of luck wherever you land!
Not sure where are you are getting that from. Systemwide, we added zero lines of flying for May (compared to April). Not good when summer schedules start May 5th. DAY stayed the same, CLT lost two, CVG and TYS each gained one.

What is the current time until I could expect to hold a line in CLT?
Being close enough to sit at home on reserve would let you be home more than holding a round 2 line. Both have 11 days off guaranteed, but the reserve can have days you are not used, days of just doing a turn, day trip, or ready reserve and being home that night. Also short trips with early finishes allowing more time at home.

I could hold a round 2 line, but choose reserve because I live within the reserve call out and I am home with my family more days than not.

A round 1 line may give you better schedule flexibility thanks to SAP.

Both rd 1 and rd 2 lines will probably pay more by breaking guarantee and more per diem.

TL/DR Living in base on reserve is sometimes better than a junior line.

How did we manage to add flying (ORD in DAY) and not add lines? Did the lines just get more efficient? It would appear that way for my base did that happen everywhere?

The lines definitely got better in TYS, imo. Ive noticed quite a few more 23 hour trips. Someone mentioned they were better in CLT too.

Knoxville lost a line for May. Was at 53 lines the last few months, 52 for May.

TYS line 1 has 90+ hours with 16 days off. The next few lines are very similar. Schedules definitely got more efficient.

More efficient across the board is good news, glad to hear it's not just in one base... hopefully that trend continues.

If our staffing issues continue the efficiency will as well. They painted themselves in a corner.

Pretty sure the company made changes since the bid first opened because now CVG is showing up two and CLT only down one. Those are definitely different than when I looked at everything within hours of it opening.

Flow going from 5 to 2 /month for "at least" June and July for "staffing and operational needs of the summer". Looks like I called that one wrong...

I don't know if this means that the 3 /month we're not flowing over the summer are going to be deferred until the end of the year or what. Also, the rumor was they were not going to be taking any over the summer to begin with so maybe looking at it as 2 is better than none is a good thing? Until we have more clarification I don't know what the deal with this is.
