Just make it known how awful the flow is and how the company doesn't follow a single section of the contract. The more the truth is out about this place, the better we are. Right now o do not want to see any fellow aviator come here and suffer on reserve under this poor management. Until they can have some trust (HA) from the pilots and follow through on anything, I recommend everyone stay away. Amazing how management can take a place with so much potential and in 2 years cause so many issues. Issues that the pilot group warned them of....

To be more accurate, you should say "The company doesn't follow a single section of the contract they way I interpret it". They interpret it a different way that's why we file a grievance and an arbitrator rules. I can tell you that this pilot group has lost far more arbitrations than it has won.

This is a good place to work and I for one am proud of how far we have come.

The flow works just fine. By the end of the year everyone who should have gone will be at AA.

I know of "at least" 6 pilots who would disagree with your statement.

You do realize there is no requirement to flow pilots monthly or during the furlough classes right now. There is only a requirement to send the lesser of 25% or 5 (not to exceed 8) for every month (not class) that AA runs a "New Pilot Position" class, to be accomplished by the end of the year. I'm amazed at how many people who voted on this flow have no clue what they voted on. The 2 a month are a bonus and actually give PSA and AA the ability to stop flows as long as [5 pilots (not to exceed 8) X the MONTHS (not held classes) a new hire class occurs] flow by 31 Dec. At the most, 60 pilots a year must flow until we gain CA. If AA holds furlough classes for 2 months and they don't hold new hire classes in Dec., we only have to flow 45 (5 X 9 months of new hire classes). The language is very specific in the companies favor. But hey we a flow. Amazing short sightedness and voting uninformed because June is going to fix everything.

I realize that PSA management is not entirely culpable for the follies that this company has recently suffered, (and currently suffers). They are merely puppets for the masters at AAG. But it's been amazing to watch the leaders of this company make one poor decision after another, repeatedly stepping on there own d1ck, usually at the direction of Dougie and his brain-trust of minions.

PSA was the envy of the regional airline world for the better part of 2 years. They managed to overcome, but got a bit of a black eye for a bad start, out the gate, by not properly staffing the training department. Then they decided to close the flood gates on new f/o's entering the airline in favor of hiring street Captains and they never recovered from the f/o hiring hiatus. The street Captain training caused another training backlog and the displacement of f/o's (for Captain I.O.E.s) prevented a lot of f/o's from reaching their 1000 SIC hours required for their upgrade, which caused an additional need for more street Captains, which further delayed the resumed hiring of new f/o's. So in order to entice new f/o's to join PSA, management decided to offer ever-increasing hiring bonuses instead of simply increasing pay, across the board. This served only to alienated/anger their best recruiting tool,..... their pilots! Follow that with an offer to give annual bonuses to only 1/2 of the pilot group and they set off another round of divisive pi$sing and moaning among an already disgruntled pilot group. And as a finale', they have not announced a Captain upgrade class since February!

Now PSA is again in reactionary mode, (reacting to their own self-induced crisis, - a.k.a. "d1ck stepping") by metering-down the flow,..... further demonstrating to the potential new hire that this probably isn't the place to start your 121 airline career!

Someone mentioned earlier that the pilots have advised management of the mistakes that they were making, yet management continued to ignore our input/warnings. You get the feeling that if the pilots told management that grass is green, the company would react by declaring that henceforth all grass will be considered purple!

What the company is doing, (re: delayed flows), is perfectly legal, per our contract. But it sends the wrong message. And it's likely the wrong thing to do,...... again! But why stop stepping on your own d1ck now? It looks like you're starting to like it!

I had a good laugh at that as well. All those yes voters should be proud right now. As well as the kool-aid drinkers.
