PSA guys better understand how PBS works before allowing it in the door. If the SAP is any indication how the 'puppeteer' handles back-end processing, PSA should have nothing to do with it.
Pre-award bid restrictions. low vacation credit/bid block-out, roaming min target hrs. , unstacking, no blend needed...Do not assume for a minute it'll be handled responsibly by the company. It's a junk in junk out system. Line bidding + SAP is the best system in place at any regional today. If we could see the PBS sales pitch to airline management, I'm sure you'd be thankful for what's in place.

No new contract will be worth the paper it's printed on until our Union can get PSA management to honor our current contract. That includes getting SAP to work the way it was sold to us in the beginning of the current contract. No measly increase in flow numbers will convince me to part with SAP.

That probably won't happen due to zoning issues and regulation. The city and CMH airport authority would probably not allow/approve a large hangar for non-aviation use.

along with a trucking company. all you have to do is put up a fence around the facility

Management here can be very vindictive. If we say no to PBS they will render the SAP completely useless. It's pretty bad already. But they'll make it worse.

SAP already is pretty close to useless. For May I had over 25 denied requests with only three approvals, and I was checking SAP and resubmitting request every 2 hours for 2 days straight. I didn't get any approved for June. Let them be vindicative all they want. Pilots are the best and worst recruiting asset airlines have. If they want to staff this airline, then they had better start improving QOL around here, which entails honoring the current contract. Rant over

My 4 year old and 6 year old know what we accept from their 2 year old tantrums...

Not sure how many "recruiter" in title but I can tell your around 1,200 are giving an honest and very different representation of the "Psa way"

I think short call time in TYS is one hour. It's two hours in DAY and CLT. That's due to traffic in the DAY and CLT areas. In TYS, the employee parking is such that crew members can walk to operations because they have SIDA badges.
I don't know what it is in CVG but suspect it's two hours.

In CLT, it takes about 30 minutes from the time that you pull into the employee lot until you get to the airplane. You have to wait for the employee bus, and then go through the proper security areas, and then walk the one mile walk of shame to the "E" gates (also knows as the slums/ghetto).
Personally, I plan on arriving at the employee lot 45 minutes before my show time. There is no sense in being late. That is one less thing to worry about.
There are so many reasons to get in trouble at an airline, one might as well rule out the ones that are under their control. Being on time is the easiest one.

Quick upgrades are gone, quick line holding is gone, SAP does not work and has not worked for over a year as it was advertised. The CCP/SDO mail in rebate program is still in arbitration almost two years later with no decision forthcoming. The flow is repeatedly restricted costing folks seniority numbers. The company is straight dishonest in how they are recruiting, do you think they become more honest once they have you on property?
All that being said, read any thread hear and everybody hates their employer. You go to the place that offers you a job. If you have multiple offers, go the one that works best for you today. Commuting sucks above all other things, so keep that in mind. I repeat, commuting sucks more than anything! Reserve on your own couch is way better than in a crashpad or hotel far from home.
