Dayton, Cincinnatti, and Knoxville were recently listed among America's 50 worst cities to live in based on socio-economic data and crime statistics. It's a wonder people aren't flocking to come work at a regional with low first year pay, a contract that would be okay if the company followed it but could be a lot better and is far from industry standard anymore, and a stagnated seniority list. What a joke. Maybe they should have opened an actual desirable and commutable hub base instead of Cincinnatti... Almost every major city in Ohio was on the 50 worst list.

I believe the source you cited is taking into account a survey while mine takes things like poverty level, median household income, percentage of residents with a bachelors degree etc into account. Cinci actually ranked better than Knoxville believe it or not. Knoxville does have more "cultural amenities", but the poverty level there is pretty bad. Almost twice the national average. Dayton was one of the worst along with Canton, Akron, Cleveland, Toledo, and one or two other Ohio cities. I can't believe Ohio had the most cities listed of any state.

Well, I already asked so too late for that. And honestly, I don't think many of those factors affect the majority of us on a daily basis anyway. A person with a stable income, decent education, and social network can make any city a great home.

I have learned through the years, there is no such thing as a "stable income", nor a "decent education". However, I have learned a "social network" can propel or haunt you.
With that said...

A person without all those attributes you mention above, can also make any city/town/county... a great home.

I asked for a link because I am curious to see the article. Simple as that. Curiosity. Then you tell me "not to bother" and then proceed to educate me on the existence, or lack there of, of real education and income. Thanks for the wisdom. How about you don't bother telling me what to ask for and what not to ask for, and I won't tell you to get over yourself.
Also, if your social network "haunts you" then it sounds like you made some poor choices with your selection of friends and acquaintances. Now carry on trolling and let me ask for whatever link I want without having to debate you about city standards of living. Thanks

Thank you. I know Google exists. I specifically want to see THE ARTICLE he referenced.
