Does anyone know when current PSA FOs will see their first $2500 installment of the FO retention bonus?
The union and the company agreed effective May 1, 2016, to disburse a $20,000 retention bonus to all FOs currently on the seniority list as of that date, payable in quarterly installments of $2500.
Well, it's now August 2, and I haven't heard anything from the company or the union as to when the FOs will receive their bonus. Did I miss it in a union conference call? Does anyone know whether it'll be sent in a separate check, or included with the August 5th or 20th paycheck?
Thanks

Do I expect a recording of the negotiations or a copy of notes from either side? No. Maybe, "talks are going well", or poorly. "We TAd this and are on to that". Anything, anything at all. Screw making the company happy, or "working together" that has been proven time and time and time again to not be the proper strategy. The company is an adversary and we need to treat them as such. Giving us a small update isn't going to violate any NDAs.

I wonder what asinine reason the company came up with that explains why the bonus is even tied to a pay period and why it has to be the "overage" pay check. Just one more month of interest they can accumulate on our backs. #shockednotshocked.

Who cares? What does the "status of negotiations" have to do with anything? When the union/company have a TA worth the pilot's vote then we'll see something. Until then, who cares? I certainly don't care. I have too much going on in my personal/professional life to be concerned over the weekly updates of my regional airline's negotiations status.
