Yes, you can apply.

If you do not have your ATP, you can not take the written without the CTP course. Most regional are offering this now, including PSA. It is provided free of charge, and you get a chance to get some time in the CRJ sim before your normal training, so it is fairly helpful later on.

This was the day before I was there so I have no idea who was there then but my "unofficial" source said two for weak technical knowledge and two for personality. There weren't any details beyond that.

While they want all the pilots they can hire, they still are requiring some basics of aviation knowledge and decorum. Take it seriously.

Default AA is involved in the screening

AA knows that we all will eventually be flowing to mainline, they want to be part of the screening process. Michael 39%

It's a good thing we both got in before that started happening.

Anyone have a slight idea when that DCA announcement might come? I'm lined up to go Republic this winter because I'd live in base at DCA, but I'd go to PSA in a heartbeat if they officially announced it.

Our CEO said "a couple weeks", and that was one week ago.

There isn't anything official yet as far as I've heard, just vague allusions. I wouldn't base any decisions on it until it's in writing somewhere.
