PSA info
#4371
Looking at moving to PSA from XJT and I'm interested in the Dayton base. Is that base running junior? Also, how are reserve times looking? I'm DTW based now and I've been sitting reserve for over a year with no end in sight. It's time for a change and the WOs seem to be offering the best opportunities. Thanks for the info.

I know that finding an accurate answer to this question is essentially witchcraft however does anyone know if the quick upgrades will still be a thing for someone hired in a year? I am very strongly considering PSA for the chance to live in base however I'm not sure it would be worth it to be stuck at the end of all the growth.

But don't expect to hold any kind of flying line quickly like you can in DAY.

How permanent are the bases? ie, vary from month to month or are they assigned?
For example, if I said I wanted to base in TYS but then had a hard time commuting there, could I decide to base in CLT?

Once you hold a line, you can also SAP down to 65 hours (usually 3 four day trips, and maybe 1 more day to make 65), and then pick up additional trips later in the other base. You can then try to swap one of your trips with a trip from the other base. Some guys are based in one city, but half of their trips start in another base.
