Why would AAG buy AWAC? That makes no sense.

It is not hard to get pilots. Look at how many applicants the WO have gotten since the bonuses were announced. They can still increase it if they need to and continue filling classes.

I think they will buy them. Only half their planes are leased, and they will help fill the void for envoys 700's there contract won't matter when American pulls a Delta and let's AWAC's owner file BK.
The choice will be vote in what's offered or Comaired.

Any base can be held out of training.

A little longer to hold a line in CLT or TYS.

What do you all think of the chances of getting an interview with 1200TT
with a CL-65 SIC type rating? Working on getting current now. I was furloughed in 08 from a 121 carrier.

Are you currently building time somewhere, and how long until you will hit 1500?

About 1100 pilots on property give or take. Currently flowing 5 /month, and losing another 8-10 /month outside of the flow. Some months more, others less. The more CAs we add, the higher our flows goes. Word I heard was that AAG asked all of the WOs to send more flows in 2017, but that the WO managements told them they couldn't afford to.

If AAG wants to hire more wholey-owned pilots, they are free to do that outside of the flow. They don't need to ASK their wholey-owneds to send more pilots. They can just TAKE 'em.

I have serious doubts about the "word (you) heard".
