But look at the numbers AA has not been doing much off the street hiring. It's been flows, military, and furlough recalls.

AA has been way behind the power curve with hiring compared to Delta and UAL. They've banked on furlough recalls that a majority of aren't returning. Delta is poaching from AA's wholly-owned's because they've seen the light and are a very well run company unlike AA which is still suffering growing pains with the Airways merger and will continue for sometime. Customer service and quality at AA is very poor compared to Delta's product which is far superior.

someone stated a few months ago "the new aa management have been used to driving around in a Yugo and now they are in a Ferrari, to much of a car for them to handle."

I buy this. It's US airways with the American name.

Yes, that's sarcasm for those of you who don't immediately recognize it.

Zero PSA pilots have been hired by AA, outside of the flow since the inception of the "S.S.P" or "flow".
Nice reading comprehension . Where did I state they were being hired in mass outside of the flow? I just pointed out the fact that there's nothing preventing it, despite popular misconception.

There may have been a couple of Envoy pilots hired outside of the flow, I have no knowledge to support or refute that allegation, but I know that there have been ZERO PSA pilots hired at AA, outside of the flow since the inception of the S.S.P. and/or flow. I also have heard of no Piedmont pilots hired outside of the flow.

There may be no contractual prohibition against AA hiring W/O's pilots outside of the flow, but clearly it ain't happening! And besides, the point I was trying to make is that some of us may THINK that it's nice to have the flow "in our back pocket" when, in fact, we have just reduced our options for going to one of the major airlines by 1.

With 80% of the slots taken by flow programs... Your options were reduced by 1 regardless.
