I'm just looking for the DAY and CVG numbers for Rd 1 line holders/reserve time so I can make an educated permanent bid the first time.

Thanks in advance.

R1 - Round 1
BU - Build up line. (usually a few reserve days mixed with scheduled flying)
LCR - Long Call Reserve, 12 hour callout
SCR - Short Call Reserve, 2 hour callout (or 1 hour in TYS)

I might have missed it but I have a question on DAY.

Can you hold DAY out of training? If so what are the times to get LCR and a line out of there.

I am trying to make sense of that posted above.

Thanks

Just to make sure I understand this info. Assume I'm a new hire effective Jan 1, 2017.

Time to get TYS: right out of training (.23)
Time on Short call reserve at TYS (.61) 32 weeks - 7.5 months
Time to hold Long Call Reserve at TYS (1.00) 52 weeks - 1 year
Time before being able to build a line. (.61) 32 weeks- 7.5 months
Time before being able to hold R1 (1.46) 76 weeks- 1 year 6 months

So, to join PSA in January it will be a 1 year and half before I can fully utilize SAP to optimize my schedule as I want? Drop trips, add, reconfigure. To reiterate, the best part of PSA is SAP but it takes a year and half before being senior enough to use it? Not a slam! Just want to make sure I completely understand it.

You got it! TYS and CLT most senior bases. However last FO BID that is not reflected here had like 26 CLT FO openings. I would expect to see FO being able to get pretty much any base by end of training. This graph is nearly a month old. Lots of hiring has happened since it was made.

By looking at the eligibility list for FOs in CLT for December, I will guess that the time to get a round 1 line will drop by 3-4 months this month.

We are short on Captains right not with those flowing and going to other carriers, so I would expect upgrade classes of 16+ again starting in January, twice a month for as long as we are filling classes. We had this for much of 2014 and 2015.

I was on SCR as a FO for 2 months in 2015 in CLT.

In TYS... It is our most senior base as of right now.

I appreciate the projections. My focus is on static/current company conditions.

Yes could that time or maybe a little less. With psa opening a new base soon people will shift around.
