Pay attention.
Right now, we don't have the staffing. The company has spent a large part of last year pounding its head against a rock saying that they didn't have to change anything to improve hiring, and we've seen what that got them.
Given recent compensation announcements, class sizes, and increased upgrade classes, the company is anticipating more 700s arriving the early part of next year.
Easy enough that I could explain it to my 8 year old nephew. If you can't get it, or just want to play court jester on the internet, that's not my problem. The hiring will continue (and perhaps pay continue to rise) despite whatever you think about it.

Then why were you all trumpeting the transfers back during the summer when you supposedly didn't have the ability, and the retention programs hadn't been announced yet? You were doing it because it was a great sound bite even though there was little to back it up. Not to different from what you're doing now. It's just a different sound bite now, but the purpose is the same: Buy yourselves some time in hopes that it all becomes a self fulfilling prophecy.
My position has always been "if we can staff it, the airplanes will come."
Until recently, the company has been a little delusional about what it would take to accomplish that, and I've personally said that to Doug Parker twice, as well as PSA's CEO.
Just because you think something happened one way, or you reserving the right to be butt hurt about it, doesn't change any of the above realities.
