I know. If you take the "PER" leaves out, we are short a large number of captains even if you count the MGT and SIP.

Sounds like someone is doing their own "Excel" work.

So I'm scheduled for the 12/19 class in DAY and super excited to be going to training soon... however during the interview we were told that we would be given positive space home for any break longer than two days (i.e. 24,25,26th of dec that we have off). Today when I called to ask about flights to training as well as home for the holidays, I was told we are on our own getting home and back to training for Christmas, and flight benefits don't kick in for 2 weeks from date of hire, so non-rev is a no-go.

Finding out this late makes finding a flight that is remotely affordable tough. Anyone have any ideas or should I count on xmas at the Clarion?

If true that is certainly a first. I would call back and speak to someone else to make sure. Let them know what you were told during the interview.

That sucks. We had to spend thanksgiving here in Dayton. Company did not positive space us. However, during the interview, THEY DID say you were on your own on getting home. The indoc instructors here are strict on you going home even on your days off.

I would also say call back and see what kind of answer you get.
Good luck!

The only days off for the 12/19 Class are the 24th and 25th. 23rd will probably be a 1500 release with class resuming at 0800 on the 26th.

I was in the ATP-CTP class and we were told the same also, 24th and 25th off. They said there will be a dinner on Sunday for anyone that is staying. Looks like X-mass in Dayton for me!!

It does suck, but you will most likely be a line holder by this time next year and not have to work Christmas again. At most companies, only the top few percent get holidays off. At PSA, any line holder can get christmas off.

Yes it will be.

Get in and get as many people behind you as quickly as possible. Less time on reserve, faster upgrade, and sooner flow if you stick around that long.
