Do you know how much pilots were making when the company was following the contract?
Yes. I was here when it worked how it is supposed to. We were the highest paid regional pilots when the CCP worked. I was crediting 125 hours on a bad month. The pay was great. But I am a realist.

We have some serious bargaining chips right now, and we need to use them wisely. We could be the highest paid regional, with the best quality of life and work rules, and still be growing. We could be flowing 15+ a month, with upgrade time staying under 24 months and flow at 5-6 years permanently. We just need to be smart.

OK. My 2.5 hour sit in DCA is just about up. I got my good pizza. Time to go and fly an airplane.

I was right at 1300 and PSA offered me a class start date of Jan 15th.
If I get my hours before that they said give a call and let us know.

The deal would have to be SPECTACULAR before I would give up the SAP in exchange for PBS,........ (and I don't foresee Dougie, errr I mean "Dion" offering us a "spectacular" deal).

Hey guys. I just wanted to know why some of you have chosen PSA over Envoy or Piedmont. I am getting close to mins and live near an Envoy base but have to commute either way.

Peidmont probally isn't out the woods yet on their overall plan. Their growth could diminish once the Dash8s start getting parked. There flow length is predicated on numbers there not currently flowing. Their lines are not even almost commutable.
Envoy and PSA are probally equal depending on where you live and frequency of flights to the base. Mabye the nod going to PSA because they haven't finished growing and opening bases.

I like the quality of life that PSA offers. The schedules are much better, and the SAP is great. The reserve and upgrade times are also much better. I sat reserve for less than 2 months.

PSA is still growing, which is helping the reserve and upgrade times.

That is why I chose PSA.

Thanks for the info. Envoy is also growing and opening bases though. Envoy told me it has a 5 year upgrade now but for a new hire, it should be 2.5 years. What is PSA's upgrade for a new hire?
