SAP is slow, but it is far from worthless. If it gets you the days off that you want, it still works.
I still can't understand why we don't have an open grievance about this filed. I know the company's excuse is they can't force a 3rd party vendor to improve their service, but PSA should be paying for FLICA to be upgraded to handle this "real time". PSA agreed to it, and should be held responsible for promises that they made and can't live up to.
With that said, If people were responsible and limited the number of trades that they put in, it would speed up a lot. But, everyone puts in lots of bids because the SAP might run slow, making it slow. We don't trust each other enough not to limit the number of trades we put in.
The slowing of SAP is the company's version of a "work action" and would be illegal if we were to do it.

I have never had the SAP not work for me, and have really good schedules. I love the SAP, but wish it was faster.

Of course an internet recruiter would say that, you saying the SAP being slow has never messed up any trade you ever put in? The SAP crashes every month and it never gets fixed, once it finally runs well all the good trips are gone.

SAP is running quickly this morning. All of my requests have been < 5 minutes processing time. I understand the frustration when it's running slow.. but I don't understand the *****ing about SAP. I'm a new CA and I've got 18 days off and 1.5 weeks off during Christmas. It's a great QOL tool.
