I was interviewed today and got an offer

I'm skeptical about what I read on here though because its not accurate. Mostly about reserve times. What they told us the junior bases and reserve times in the interview don't match what's posted here.
That's bc the people doing the interviews are not flying the line like the guys that post on here and are a little out of the loop. The reserve times being posted on here are accurate, these guys are pulling this info straight from flica.

SAP already crashed for captains backing up trades for hours, maybe if they ran it on a server that was made in the 21st century it would work better. I saw trades processed much faster on skedplus (owned by SKW) with a larger pilot group, why is flica so slow? SAP is worthless at this speed.

Probably because every single day after December 23rd has been dropped lol.

I hear we have a PBS committee now. Looking at PBS options.

What the tall guy posts are accurate to show what the reserves currently are each month.

After that, there are projections based on hiring and class size. In 2014 and 2015, there were new hires finishing IOE and immediately getting a line in the junior bases. Other people were sitting reserve for 2-3 months or less in CLT.

Just think of it this way... once enough pilots are hired behind you to fill the reserve slots, you will get a line. There is not a shortage of flying or airplanes.

If we are hiring 25 per class, then in 4 months you will have 200 pilots junior to you. How many reserve FOs will we need as a company? Not too many more than that. in junior bases, it will be less. (Provided classes are still full).

A single trade should be processed in 2 seconds at most, even if we have 1,000 trades in the queue it shouldn't take 3 hours to complete a transaction. We should pay SkyWest to use skedplus and their servers.

No such committee has been created yet.

Didn't the sap just open 90 minutes ago? I agree I'm not sticking up for the company it should be quicker but it's always like this the first evening and goes pretty quick by the morning.

I still can't understand why we don't have an open grievance about this filed. I know the company's excuse is they can't force a 3rd party vendor to improve their service, but PSA should be paying for FLICA to be upgraded to handle this "real time". PSA agreed to it, and should be held responsible for promises that they made and can't live up to.

With that said, If people were responsible and limited the number of trades that they put in, it would speed up a lot. But, everyone puts in lots of bids because the SAP might run slow, making it slow. We don't trust each other enough not to limit the number of trades we put in.

The slowing of SAP is the company's version of a "work action" and would be illegal if we were to do it.

I've seen trades processed much faster at companies with bigger pilot groups that use a rd 1 sap system so I know its possible to have a system that works at least 10x faster but the company isn't interested in it I guess. Instead we have flica which crashes every month....
