Really? It has eased the pressure on AAG trying to place 70 large RJ's somewhere else. It's evident that placing RJ feed at a carrier right now is competitive to the favior of the carrier. Any CRJ Union would be in the drivers seat if their company had the chance to acquire that much work.

"Making it easier on AAG" has no effect on other contract negotiations. Please answer my original question: What is the current negotiating landscape, and how has PSA's vote affected it?

The point is we will never know. Had PSA raised the bar, would Mesa still be struggling to get industry standard? Would Envoy have been presented with a better deal? Would everyone be paying $40+ for new hires. We will never know. It's a little ignorant to say it has had no effect.

Are you just arguing, or do you really believe that because no contact was explicitly indexed to PSA's concessions that it didn't modify negotiations at other carriers?

How do you know if even greater improvements could have been made? Are you listening? There is no way to know just how much of an impact the PSA contract had on the industry.
