I think another out station crew base is stupid though, but probably the PSA way.
We're turning into the Skywest of the east in regards to random a$$ bases.

Our next base should be a HUB hands down. No one wants to two leg it to an outstation. Envoy is hiring like boondocks partially because of their all hub bases.

Good luck in finding anyone who will want to go there. When it can't be staffed it will be shut down.

There are several commuters that live near there. Not to mention those who live within an hour or two’s drive. If Whiskey managed to staff their ORF crew base then I see no real reason we wouldn’t be able to.

I’m not a fan of outstation bases for a different reason than, “I’m not happy about 2-leg commuting to base”. I think opening an outstation right now is short-sighted. Sure we have pilots now. We aren’t worried about attracting pilots with commutable hub bases... But what about a year from now? 2 years from now? Just seems short-sighted to me is all.

The propaganda is out in full force, APC profile shows PSA having a ORF and SAV crew base. I don't think we officially have those bases unless I missed something.

You can two leg commute it to SAV.

With all of the separating/retiring military in the ORF area who won’t have to move to work for a regional, it’ll stay staffed.

Or drive it! SAV would be a pretty big game-changer for me to be honest.

If I had to guess, someone is feeding the webmasters some false information. And probably not the company.

I take blame for the incorrect bases, and it was not intentional. I sent in the request to change some of the items to update them to be correct (total number of airplanes, number of pilots, changes to flow numbers, etc..) and included that there were 2 new maintenance bases opening.

I think they misunderstood and added them as crew bases. I have sent a request in for them to change it already.

I would not use that as a reason to believe where the next bases are going to be. I have a good idea, but until it is announced, I am not going to post any rumors on here.

Can you confirm a SJU base?
