I'm hoping I'll get forced into DAY as that's where I'd bid into anyway. But that's at least 6/7 months away as I hardly fly.

If the numbers stay the same I'll be safe for at least another year.

I never understood why people that fly as little as possible, and avoid upgrading until forced, choose this profession.

Everyone is different in their goals?!?

I like flying. But I enjoy my time off and ease of my schedule in regards to commuting.

I'm not looking to rush my butt to sit reserve barely flying and dealing with never being home. Of course I'll like being CA , getting PIC time, and increased pay. But there isn't much incentive. The displacement rules and other small incentives don't mean much to me.

I came back to 121 to get experience for other opportunities outside of 121. So I'll do my time and either go to those choices or find a mainline.

Not that this will help my argument as we all think we're correct.

No regional competition in the area (basically just Republic) would come close to what PSA offers its pilots.

I hear you....this is not directed at you, but the fact that we are even talking about out stations bases makes me feel like an even bigger rj scum smh. “Make PHL great agajn 2018.”

Maybe because until recently you didn’t make the same as a reserve captain? When I got hired it was before all the bonuses and I couldn’t wait to upgrade. Now....not so much.

Default New written test at interview

Hello,

I understand there is a new written test for the interviews at PSA. Would appreciate if anyone can shed light on this new test and if it differs much from the old one.

Whilst I am putting a lot of effort to revise and be confident in all subject matters, any help would be greatly appreciated to ensure I am on the track to success.

I would suggest looking at the ATP test bank, and be familiar with instrument flying procedures and rules. Approach plates would be a good thing to review.

Default Travel cost for interview

Does PSA cover travel to interview location? I’m currently in the Army and plan to submit my application as soon as I am 6 months out. My main concern is I’m stationed in Korea and getting out from here so if they to cover tickets for travel will the cover it from Seoul Korea?

They book your flights. You have to cover your hotel and meals. I have a interview coming up in 2 weeks
