Well...

That's how the cookie crumble.

I don't know how you can say this when the reserve grid on the FO side reads -3,-6,-3,-2,-3 and so on for the entire month.

I'm not an FO so I don't know your grid.

Okay let me rephrase. We are appropriately staffed with captains. My buddy has worked 4-5 trips since November on reserve in tys.

Most of us see the "bigger picture" with out our pet pipe dream clouding what we really see.

Simple. Pilots are your number one tool of recruitment. I don't care how much you spend in ads and Facebook videos, nothing has more effect than pilots talking. Management violates the contract on a constant basis. They don't make any attempt to fix any QOL issues that they know exist (SAP processing speeds would be the best example). Their best attempts are a below average signing bonus and cadet program that is doing nothing. Scheduling is a joke and creates inefficient schedules. Payroll can't ever get anything right. Even the guy who sends the Captain Award emails can't do his job right. Management is beating the pilot group into the ground. Now pilots are telling everyone to stay away. So until you make your current pilots happy and have them saying good things about PSA and that it's a good place to come to, then the staffing issue is only going to become much much worse.

Yes sir, everyone is incompetent but you. This place is night and day different than 10 years ago. I see a management group that has tried to change this place for the better. I'm sure with your what? 1 1/2 years at PSA you know more about managing an airline than everyone else.

Spectacular, amazing, who cares. So what if it's better than 10 years ago. It still sucks. I'm sure 10 years ago it was better than the 10 years before that but you still wanted it to get better. We don't live in the past. Here and now the management isn't measuring up and this place is in the fast lane to failure.

This management team isn't doing a damn thing to make this place better. They are doing as little as possible at the cheapest possible. They are hoping another company will go under and a new source of pilots will appear. Problem is those pilots still won't come here because there are better deals for them to start over at the bottom with.

This is the song you sing every post. Do you really think AA would let PSA "Go under" after investing all that they have over the last two years? LOL Foolish. Is AA slow to the party? Fair enough. PSA will get competitive. Too much invested not to.

Management might have just received their wish since RAH just went bankrupt.

Are you really trying to defend management? Whether I've been here 1 year Or 10, it doesn't matter. And now versus 10 years ago doesn't matter either. It's all about how you compete within the industry and right now PSA is at the bottom just above Mesa and GoJet. And with the attitude that you have, you are contributing to the problem.
