That all depends on attrition outside and movement from FO to upgrades. You'll see good movement when the 30 folks start upgrade dec 22. It will show when bidding for a February line. As long as that keeps up and we hire more FO's, then junior FO's will get lines quicker.

It is more than just attrition. As more airplanes come on line, there are also more lines each month. For each new airplane, 5 FO's upgrade to Captain, and 5 more FO's are needed. So, for each new airplane, there are 10 openings for FO's. (These are rough numbers - there is an average of 10 pilots/2 crews per airplane needed).

Also we lose around 10-15 a month both CA and FO's.

Our entire industry is a C scale. Get over yourself. Why wouldn't someone who has been an FO for 5+ years come to an airline with growth for a CA position? How long should they stick it out on reserve or how long should they keep making FO pay at their "hold the line" regional?

Your right dude it's too difficult let me try.
Pretty much all you hear from any pilot is:
The company sucks
Mgnt sucks
The union sucks
My pilot group is the best
I only stick it out and do this for my fellow pilots.
Popular Lego video shows pilots not getting along, everyone agrees it's true
Airline creates list of people I can list not to fly with.
I've called in sick in order to not fly with some said douche.
I won't go to another regional to be a captain because it might suck.
My company sucks, but I won't leave because I take pride in what I do.
*except when I call in sick when i am not, abuse FMLA, dodge crew scheduling and run over passengers to catch my commute home.

He said "about 200" you prude. 189 is very close to 200. Maybe he didn't feel like logging onto flica just to get the exact amount. I would have said around 200 as well if someone asked me.

according to the PSA facebook, they started an indoc class today of FO's and Dispatchers, but the class looked a little light. Anyone know how many FO's were there? Still seems to be slow going with hiring. Im sure part of that has to do with the Christmas.

They will resume 25/class starting 2016. Now if they get 25/class is a different story.
