For every day that passes More and more Envoy pilots are getting a better job offer at other Low cost carriers and Majors way sooner than this garbage TA will ever be comparable to. Envoy WILL have a pilot shortage/staffing problem BIG time. People are leaving Envoy left and right. Even this this crappy TA they don't even look back. We will not settle for less! PERIOD!
Today there is plenty of jobs out there and more to come with every day that goes by. Everyone will have a job, most likely under better circumstances than what you have now. EAGLE/envoy pilots are like ROCKS and NOTHING breaks us! SOLID NO x2700 !!
You made my point! All I said is if you come to a pilot group 2-3 times then post almost 300 million in profit then come back with the same deal that was voted down is kind of a slap.
That's what I was getting at. Has nothing to do with Envoy, has nothing to do with Piedmont. Just says a ton about the management we are dealing with that's all.

Good Luck

It is you who is delusional. They leak this stuff out specifically to gauge reaction and comment.
It's why they hire union busters; this is what they do. Stop helping them is the MEC's advice.

Your surrender attitude is hurting your fellow pilots. If they smell blood in the water, it makes it that much harder to bargain improvements.
get it yet?

Comment about the deal all you want to your hearts content once an agreement is reached and they've inked their name on the line. Talk about it in your crew rooms, lunch table, and cockpits.... just don't put it out in public until something is signed. Email and call your reps, we are listening.
There won't be a deal with their name inked to it, Im sure you and Kyle will ruin this deal as you did the last one, had any jumpseat riders lately?

To the poster talking about everyone getting "better jobs". I know plenty of FOs who have made lateral moves because of you yahoos sinking the company. Some have gone to LLCs and even less to majors but there have been some. Yes this offer looks the same as the last one and I voted yes, why vote no now?

I really hope the guys on here are just a vocal minority this time around, for everyone's sake.

Billy: You have to realize that AAG made those profits. We at ENY, PSA, PDT are just contract labor. We may be owned by the umbrella corporation but they don't consider is part of American.

The senior guys here are willing to burn the place down around them and ride their lifeboat over to AA. I know I for one would not do that to a colleague. Good luck, it seems like the same uneducated, emotional, bitter, antagonists are going to carry the day a second time.
Wasn't it you whining about being away from home and wanting to know how fast it took to get to 777 where you could make big bucks and be at home most of the time ?

Hasn't it been you crying about how Envoy pilots should just take whatever is offered so as to improve the flow for you ?

Hasn't it been you advocating complete surrender because this carrier is finished and a better deal won't cone and they won't be back ?

Pal. I think it's good for all of us, you included, that your bailing. This profession isn't just about flying airplanes, it's also about successfully facing the frequent threats to belittle and dilute it by management. It's good you're getting out, because clearly you don't have the proper outlook or intestinal fortitude to succeed in it and it's best for all of us, you included that you find another profession. Hopefully, your next choice won't involve a unionized workforce, because clearly you're not cut out for conflict.

Perhaps a family business baking cookies where all is warm and fluffy and you work for yourself ?

Unions are an ineffective relic of the past. Unions have killed many jobs and companies in this country, far more than jobs they've created or protected. The only successful unions in this country are federal and to be quite honest they shouldn't exist. Until you chest thumping troglodytes realize this isn't 1920 anymore our plight will not get any better.

Please stop using "our" as if you are a part of this. You are already on your way out of this industry and I hope the door hits you on the way out. Although just like RJ Pilot, I have a feeling you will keep posting here long after you are gone. Once a troll, always a troll.

Although maybe this other job you have lined up will turn our like your Compass plan and then we will be stuck with you.

You guys do know this is a management troll spilling parts of the deal that they want to see happen. They're trying to find out what it will take to get people to say "Yes" and how low the moral is.

This industry is falling apart because a few people at smaller companies caved to concessions during record profits. Express Jet, Republic, and Envoy have a little more say in things when we've got a large percentage of the regional pilots. Try not to sound all excited they're coming back to the table. They're coming back to the table because they don't have the option of going elsewhere. They've tried all avenues. We would already be COMAIR II if it was that easy. Please keep your, "I'll take the worst deal at this point" comments to yourself.

...and if there was any doubt you're a detriment to airline pilots and this profession, there isn't any more. SOME unions, yes, but this industry would collapse without them. Even WITH a contract, most companies abuse their unionized employees and frequently (almost daily) disregard agreements they make. Back before unions, commercial aviation had a greater than 50% mortality rate and a "fly or your fired" philosophy by unsympathetic managers. One can imagine if no unions existed at all and they still had free reign with no restraint.

God, what a disaster.

So long pal...........and please let us know your last day so that we may at least breathe a little sigh of relief. Rome wasn't built in a day and every cracked brick like you still here makes our foundation that much weaker.

If Envoy ALPA is even so much as entertaining any arguments from Glass, etc. about what 5% might say on internet forums they're already beat. If they are smart, among the first caveats to negotiations would be no mention of internet chatter, nor consideration of such. A fair deal is either fair or it isn't. Everything else is meaningless.

Envoy ALPA needs to play THEIR game, not Glass's game.

The regional pilots now SHOULD (and really DO) have the most leverage that they've EVER had in their future, but they've been hoodwinked into thinking the opposite by short-term chess moves. It's falling apart because people are caving and why is meaningless. But, to be fair, the majority of regional pilots are young kids less than 30-35 and relatively short tenures in the industry and so......well, are really babes in the woods. It's no surprise these mature pros at all the union-busting tactics are manhandling them with relative ease. I can assure you Glass won't have such a cakewalk at AA.

Yes, healthcare costs may increase. But why would you voluntarily increase your share of the premiums on top of the increase of the healthcare costs? If anything, you guys should be negotiating LOWER insurance costs because of increase healthcare costs.
