i see no mention of reserve rules, scope, pdo's or sick time, 76+ seat pay, cobasing, health care.....only yay we're finally on par with skywest/awac/xjt/horizon payscales. devil is in the details, theres a reason the union is against this. and correct me if i'm wrong, but since this was done circumventing the union, doesnt the grievance process go out the window? and the company can change/interpret the cba as they see fit?
A section for cobasing I believe it requires an LOA and membership ratification for one to open but I need to take a better look.
Health care- Legacy plan is 35% paid by employee. I believe it goes away in 2018. New plan 25% paid by employee. I haven't had a chance to go through the details and see how it compares to what we have now.

I'm sorry but any RAH pilot that thinks this is a good deal when comparing it to 2015 SkyWest TA and 2015 AWAC TA is delusional.
Look at the details. For example for FOs..
RAH 2015 Offer FO 2nd year pay:
2015: $41.00
2017: $41.83
AWAC 2015 TA FO 2nd year pay
2015: $40.63
2017: $41.86
After 2 simple years they are already making more in a 50 seat jet than RAH FOs will in 76 seat jets. Moreover, their pay keeps going up every year by 1.5% indefinitely. RAH stops giving increases after 3 years.
Looking at the Group 1 payscale for CA (50 seat jets and Q400) AWAC 2015 is also higher after 2017 and will keep getting higher.
Do not fall for the trap. This offer has many concessions in exchange for very little gains.
Junior manning, hot reserve at this place would be horrific.

**** management for decades only offer a contract similar to Skywest after a figurative "gun" was put to their head by the majors from this "shortage". Their hand was forced to do this to stay in business. Dont forget that. At the end of the day, republic is still gonna be the current republic. Your staffing issues wont be solved for months if not over a year due to training, IF this passes... Band-aid on a arterial wound if you ask me. This should have come years ago.

Huge concessions on vacation/sick and PDO's.

Just remember there is always another "final" offer from management when their ass is on the chopping block too. Just like AAG with Envoy. I believe it went to the best and final, final, final, final, final offer. No joke. They came back 5-6 times and "walked" away I think twice? No negotiations start with best and final. They start with the extreme and the intent of settling in the middle, for something that is industry standard anyway. If those big ups don't want to lose their jobs they WILL make a deal because one of the first things to clean out after a bankruptcy is old management!

From the contract:
I'm not there anymore, but if I were, this paragraph right here would make my vote a NO.
Consistent with past practice, and by way of clarification, the Company may continue to offer incentives including but not limited to signing bonus, candidate transitional training, and stipends to new hire pilot candidates, new hire trainees, and/or recruits, before or during new hire training.
