There are only 16 Q,s left to be retired. The upgrade will drop as people come in the door. I stand by my argument, people will come for the money and the upgrade. Both should be a reality soon.
"come for the upgrade, stay because your career has been ruined by a suspension or checkride bust for exercising good judgement".

While I agree it just goes to show that money isn't everything. 145's are on time, but it won't stop there. They are beefing up for 175's also. I'll be long gone but 175's will be a stop for PDT and I think it will happen a ton sooner then many think.

And that is EXACTLY what is wrong with the regionals. For the past year we have been dealing with "regional" airline pilots selling out for flows and preferential interviews, none of which help pay off your debt, pay rent, or buy groceries for you and your family. This is the first offer (while far from perfect) that actually raises the amount of MONEY you can make as a first officer. I am happy that you get to flow to American, but that is a smoke screen that allows companies to keep wages low and get applicants in the door. The first sign that things really are changing is when wages go up, not when I have a "promised" job somewhere, someday.

And as far as your 175's go, let's see you get the 145's going before we move along to that. I'm hearing very different things about your jet program...

You have brought this up before, and I still am not sure what you're referencing. If that happened to you, that is very unfortunate, but it is something that can happen at ANY airline. I haven't seen evidence to backup what you are saying, but I'm not saying it hasn't happened. Here or anywhere else.

I agree with that statement. Everyone here is trashing RAH and its pilot group, and yet RAH is the first regional airline to offer FOs first year pay of $40/hr, per diem $1.95. OF COURSE it would be great to have been offered more pay and better benefits, but where are all of these expert pilots coming from, name your airline and its record as it relates to your benefits and pay. Stick to regionals, this is not major league.

That happened at every regional that took a CRJ, ERJ or ejet in the last decade, RAH is far from the only guilty party. It also happened at a time when the market was flush with pilots and not enough jobs. My point is the same thing happened with your flow, but in a time when the market has reversed! Everyone should be looking at 40+ dollars an hour, but the flow carrot kept the wages down.

Also, my sources are numerous PDT captain friends, all of whom say the same thing. PDT is having a hard time transitioning from an all turbo prop airline to jets, and that the entire program manual was shot down by the FAA.

lol very hypocritical of these pilots to talk about how some pilots went to RAH because of their shiny jets. These same guys signed up for bad contracts either in hopes of quick flows or the promise to fly bigger jets (Envoy and PSA come to mind, among other ones).

Bad contacts???? Light years ahead of republic!!! Republic work rules are worse then PDT from the early 90's.

As for pdt's 145's no manual was shot down and most instructors are typed and ready to do.
We get pilots and AAG said we'll get the planes.

As per a union email from our Executve Board about a minute ago, the LBFO will NOT be sent out to the pilots for a vote. The only way it will be sent to a vote is if the IBT General Paresident overrides this decision. Yet another salvo has been fired. What will BB and company do next? Should be an interesting end of the week. I'll save firstclass and others the effort and say the word bankruptcy, but I don't believe it's the case. Enjoy the show everyone...
