"Restructuring" is only so BB can try and get out of flying the 145s sooner. They also want to be able to streamline the 170/175s onto one certificate, they cannot do this right now with Delta's current scope. Without the codeshares helping BB, the only other avenue is a Judge. Getting the pilots to sign another bad contract is just a bonus.

This exactly. Remember, up until the start of 2015, the plan was to park the 145s as they came off contract. That's why chautauqua was merged into shuttle: to already have all of the staff on a working certificate as the planes came off CPA. Pilots coming off the 145 could then be on Shuttle, ready to fly the 175s coming online for United. But then, Delta threw a wrench in all of that by exercising their right to extend some of the aircraft.

145s are flying to the desert as we speak. "Restructuring" was already happening, LBFO or not. "Restructuring" means BB & Co can get out of that pesky 145 deal and get their dream all-Ejet fleet.

I'm just going to say it clear, y'all are going into Bk(and you are not getting a burger out of it!). Contract or not, it's going to happen.

I don't know how bad the financial issues are but, nobody has spoke about liquidation and the cease of operations. I mean, could this be a possibility?

Just curious, have any of the RAH pilots seen any changes lately with the number of pilots? Have any new hires dropped out of training or has the overall number of pilots dropped since this new deal negotiation came out? I know a couple guys that were considering RAH but are holding off until things finalize I was just wondering if the inflow of new hires has come to a complete standstill

TurbineTime- put away your RAH boner and wake up. $40 is not a respectable wage.

Endeavor is barely finding folks with higher pay than that. Not everyone cares to fly a 175.

No I very much doubt it.

First, they have a viable business. They have assets that are worth quite a bit nowadays - pilots; and they have the legal structure of several 121 operating certificates.

If anything, a purchase/merger by another regional would make sense. Similar to what happened in the AA/US merger. AA went "bankrupt" to shed liabilites and lost control of the company to US/Wall Street who threw money at it and gained control.

SkyWest doing the purchase would make a lot of sense; they'd wrap up a very large portion of the contracted lift flying with the purchase of Republic, while owning SkyWest, ASA, and XJT. It's unfortunate those pilot groups can't get on the same page; they'd have huge bargaining power and really be able to effect wages upward.

- Hiring VS Quitting -

(Hired/Quit/Net)

Jun 2014 30/39/-9

Aug 2014 32/33/-1
Sep 2014 30/28/+2
Oct 2014 17/32/-15
Nov 2014 24/37/-13
Dec 2014 20/33/-13
Jan 2015 22/22/0
Feb 2015 21/35/-14
Mar 2015 30/43/-13
Apr 2015 33/34/-1

Jun 2015 26/41/-15
Jul 2015 34/32/+2
Aug 2015 17/52/-35

Total since Jun 2014: 377/522/-145

The August numbers are actually from July, so they don't reflect the fallout from this LBFO. However, it is the time period when the company announced they were walking away from negotiations. I wouldn't be surprised to see similar numbers when the September list comes out.

It is more of a move in the right financial direction then any other regional to date. If the language was fixed this would have been a great TA. Im curious where you work that is paying you enough to make that statement.
