Quote: So 140 planes now, with and additional 20 to 40 in the future. That doesn't sound like a sinking ship. At what point do people stop wanting to pretend the airline hasn't turned around?
20-40 more, and parking the CR2, so no growth. We’re the “gold standard” yet Delta has given nearly 50 new factory planes to OO in the last 2 years, while we get junkers to “extract residual value from”.

First of all, Delta didn't give any planes to SkyWest. SkyWest bought those planes. Delta did not. Secondly, one should've expected that SkyWest would benefit somehow from the Express Jet wind down agreement with Delta. I believe those planes were under contract with Delta until 2019. I may have the year wrong though. But in any case they terminated it early. Delta wants more 2 class aircraft. And they want them to have a forward lav for their high value passengers, which the 700 does not. I agree that it would've been nice to see those planes come to Endeavor. But Delta favors those who can finance the aircraft

So what happens in 5 years when the EV and (potentially G7) CR7's we are operating need replaced? Comair 2.0...

The announced plan is to gain 31 dual class aircraft and park 16 200s. By my math that’s 15 more aircraft. It’s not as many planes as Skywest is buying but it’s not “no growth.” I understand frustration, but at least make reasonable statements.

And give up 7 more 200's that we had scheduled for delivery. 31-15-7. Growth of 9 planes.

Have you tried the fetal position?
In 5 years more than half our pilots will have moved on.
The MRJ, 175#2, revamped crj900's will all be available.
Let's see if the TA has most of what we want minus a flow
That's tomorrow not 5years
