This is why anytime a hotel change comes up it should be voted on. Too many effing complainers and donkeys. One or three idiots ruin it for the entire group.

you actually liked that dump the raddisson? You are the reason we don;t get nice things here then. That place had so many issues I could literally write a book. I for one am very glad to be out of that place. this new contract won't have us down town anywhere if under 20 hours anyways....so get used to the double tree prison.

I didn't notice the issues other then a bit loud. I don't spend my overnights locked in my room. That dump you refer to had a pretty nice location. Restaurant/ bars/ ball games you name it. You must really like jerking your jerky by the airport.

And this is part 2 to the reasons Delta would close us in a heartbeat (in my opinion). Part 1 is that we are more expensive than other carriers as a pilot group alone. SKW is doing the same job we are, has more pilots, and does it for less. Add in their own planes and maintenance, and try to imagine how expensive we actually are for them. Getting rid of us, while it would change the dynamic for them, would probably save them money in the long run, even if it meant slightly less efficient passenger travels.

Keep that in mind when deciding on what this TA means to you.

This is a win/win for Delta, better aircraft at no additional risk. It's not like OO "gets 15 more" OO put their necks on the block and purchase them. Delta says "sure we will let you fly out passengers in your shiney new jets."

And when Skywest no longer has competition what do you think they'll do? That's exactly why the whipsaw is here!

Exactly, remember when the ASA 200's were announced, it was basically said they would be flown to "extract residual value from the airframes". Well, now, we're going to do that with old CR7s and CR9s. And they'll be parked when they're too expensive.

No the sky is not falling. This is a good place to work, we're treated well, paid well, and have lots of growth coming over the next year. Outside of a flow, this contract will put us in a good position. If you want job security past 10 years in the future, go to a major.
