Quote: You are the one trying to drag down others at JB with low expectations and contentment with sub-par conditions. By pointing out the areas that need improvement, myself and others are trying to make JB better. Unfortunately there are many people here who take such criticism personally (bizarre, really) or feel that anyone who wants improvements here should leave (also bizarre).
No, the constant harping here as well as on BP and Facebook isn't about making JB better. It's about misery and bringing people down.

Ok, let’s ignore everything that needs improvement and pretend everything is rainbows and unicorns so we don’t offend your delicate sensibilities.

I certainly don’t want to dissuade anyone from coming to JB (we all benefit from well-qualified individuals joining the list and this is FAR from the worst place to work), but it’s also good for them to come with eyes wide open.

It’s more about correcting false narratives, MWW created narratives and false hope planted by EMT and FLOPS and repeated by gullible pilots and the repulsion these facts cause in the ones that keep trying to promote the idea that we are paid more than Starbucks Baristas so all the above is okay with them so it should be okay with everyone and if not then everyone else is a MWW talking point (miserable).

All pilots complain is true but about different layers on the pyramid.

Without the “miserable”, jetblue pilots would still be complaining about food water and shelter and others would be pointing out we still make more than Starbucks employees and that would be okay with them since it is well known that jetblue pilots don’t want to get paid the most but paid the longest.<——- MWW talking point spread by jetblue pilots and those who disagreed were labeled “obstructionist”. <—— MWW taking point spread by jetblue pilots via internal corporate email to all pilots on the property and via the BOBs email network.

All you newbies need to remember you only have the last 100 pages of a 1,000 page story that is Bluejet from beginning to yesterday.

Their naivety is embarrassing.

It’s a cycle that bluejet exploits.

By the time the newbie says man did I get that wrong it is 6 months to 3 years. The some how those who do not get it some how are project pilots or special deal pilots or are former Air Force. Im kidding about the Air Force part.

And the in next new hire class the cycle starts over since the only thing the are looking for are great TMAAT stories that fit the model.

I assume most live in MCO/central FL and there are not many crashpads? Pros/cons of MCO base?

cons

is it’s Uber senior on the CA side and even Airbus FO. It sucks to see people with your same seniority making 50k more than you with weekends off in JFK.(although if you live close to mco and are willing to volunteer on your days off you can make that up pretty easily)

But is that worth a commute to you? Decision you have to make for yourself.

Only base with 190 red eye turns.

Your not just on rsv in MCO you are on rsv in Florida! LIMOs everywhere! Makes it a little hard to predict open trips while on rsv.
