Match point, what do you have to say about the "get current and bail" post by no pants. I am afraid of a tremendous amount of money wasted.

There has been pretty much zero new hire attrition...

That's not what the attrition reports say. I only have 2 years seniority and about 50% of the pilots who quit last year were junior to me.

Yeah I haven't been here for two years yet and a good chunk of my class is gone already... A lot of the attrition is from the bottom of this list.

I think it's 5 gone from my new hire class none have moved on to another airline besides 1 to a major. I guess my idea of attrition isn't those who just up and quit because the job isn't worth it, because I've seen dozens of those leave in my last 3 years.

The longer trips tend to go more senior to minimize commutes and drives to/from. Reserve is most definitely shorter on the Bro than the RJ.
Are locals and stand ups one day trips?

Locals are day trips with no overnight. Standups involve a late flight to an outstation, a few hours in a hotel, followed by the early flight back to the hub. They pay five hours for two legs with a nap in between. Used to be the nap was not required, if there were delays you could be up all night and never make it to the hotel but FAR 117 now requires that some hotel rest actually occur on these schedules.

Don't sweat it man, they didn't hire me either and I'm typed in the E170/190 and didn't even have to fly the sim. I had my stuff sewn up tight too, but you, like me were just not meant to be there. Don't worry, you'll find a gig. I did.....

There's plenty of gouge out there about the technical questions, both on the test and in the interview - know that stuff cold or don't even bother showing up. They're not just taking whoever shows up.
Did you get the nod?

Go back in 6 months and they'll hire you. They like it when people come back and try again. I know a couple people who did this. But if you get a job at another regional then screw skw. Seniority is king.
