Does anyone know if the DCI 200's still planning on being completely wound down by the end of 2015? Is the MSP base pretty much gone when that happens?

There's plenty of gouge out there about the technical questions, both on the test and in the interview - know that stuff cold or don't even bother showing up. They're not just taking whoever shows up.
Hey there Colonel,

It's your friendly CRM partner here It was a pleasure meeting you and the rest of the guys. I ended up not having to do the sim…during the debrief they told me to expect an offer this week.

Totally agree with you on your assessment of the interview.

For anyone who's planning on a SkyWest interview, make sure you are sharp on sim procedures using old-style steam gauges and raw data (no GPS, no glass, etc…it's a Frasca.) And also make sure you study the gouge…which, fortunately, is spot-on accurate.

I had big hopes on SKW & I am really very disappointed now.

So to all the aspiring people, do not take this interview lightly if you want to get hired here...
bcpilot -- were you in the April 4 interview? I was there. I was astonished at how many guys got cut loose straight out of the simulator. It was an intense day, to be sure.

They'd be completely out of their minds not to hire you.

Hey, your interview prep worked on me, that's for sure. Our CRM exercise went pretty darn well, don't you think? And that's due to you…I did not have the benefit of any pre-interview CRM prep. Of course, you being a fighter pilot and all, I'm surprised you didn't come up on Guard and ask for "Viper Two-Six" to blow us out of the sky, just in case there was an Al Qaeda operative on board

Why did you not have to do the sim?

It must have been my dashing good looks...

In reality, I haven't a clue. I did spend 10 hours in a sim prepping for the expected sim ride, but it was not to be. Not that I'm complaining.

For those of you who didn't do well on the sim ride, I'm really sorry. Those things are finicky and quite tough to fly. You should have seen me in Brasilia upgrade after flying the an automated glass A/C for 7 years, it sure wasn't pretty. Good luck, don't let it get you down.

That sim was awful. I was very happy when I learned on IOE that the real plane isn't that hard to fly.
