Instead of saying "pretty good" how about posting the plan? I doubt it's enough of an increase that it would justify the lower pay scale, not to mention the rest of the industry hating you. Probably not worth it.

What's the retirement at Burger King? I know that at xjt you would get a 6% matching, a 6% contribution, and pay 25% of health care premiums.

Crappy retirement and healthcare plans are NOT universal among all regionals. Did the person that told you that have an agenda?

Didn't you just ratify the LOA that is increasing the cost of your health care premiums up to 35% (among other concessions)?

The PSA LOA ended up being a raise for most of the pilots. How do you feel about the pay freeze and no override for all the 700s SkyWest got about a decade ago while undercutting unionized AWAC and ACA? SkyWest has since taken many more concessions in the form of benefits and scheduling, how do you feel about those as well? I'd rather be at PDT or PSA than at SKW with the horrible benefits and work rules.

I commend Expressjet for having better benefits. However the big benefit missing there today is job security.

PSA also gets paid less with their raise to fly 76 seat jets than the 50-seat pilots at TSA, XJT, and AWAC.

You realize there is more to pay than the rates? I had 70 hours of just soft time pay last month, never had that at my former regional (which is considered a top tier contract). Either way they are all better than non union SKW which everyone seems to conveniently forget about and their past undercutting of good regional contracts.

I find it funny that a PSA pilot is accusing a Skywest pilot of undercutting. Is that irony?

Also, while I am Union and support it, there are many succesful labor groups that are not.

You can google the PSA CBA and look at the details, it's all in the contract.

I mentioned right in my comment that XJT is one of the regionals with better pay and benefits than Skywest. Other than XJT, crappy pay and benefits is pretty universal among the large regionals. Look at the contracts of the three largest regionals after XJT. Skywest, RAH, Envoy, Endeavor, Mesa.

Skywest did win a bid to operate 200s for Airways at the same rate that Mesa was operating their Dash 8s. I would call that undercutting.
