I think SKYW is one of the few if not only airline that lets the pilots fly 91 without needing to ask permission.

If you make $$ on the side, flying, it interferes with 117 rest rules, I think. So if there ever was an incident and the FAA digs around, it's not on SKYW for violating them, it would be on you. And probably lose your SKYW job..? Definitely a worst case scenario.

It does say that regardless of the activity, you must be fit for duty, obviously.

Oh neat. So CFI work on the side does not count according to precedence is what I gather from that?
