I know we have the company over a barrel with hiring, right? For 2.5 years they haven't been able to hire a single soul? Oh wait, they have.

On top of that the resumes on file have already increased by 2 fold. If an agreement is even on the horizon many of these folks will come and even our perceived leverage will disappear.

This thing is over IF the MEC votes to send it out.

And by decent scope you mean the language in there scope that has allowed there flying to go codeshare and the regionals?

You guys are getting ahead of yourselves with all this rig talk since it doesn't go active until PBS. We need to see what incentive the company has to implement PBS.

Agreed but keep in mind there will be a time frame that both company and ALPA have to follow. Cant drag on forever.

As mentioned above; this was covered by ALPA legal on a conference call that there will absolutely be language in the PBS protocol agreement to prevent any kind of stalling by either side.

EXACTLY!!!!
And don't forget our super IT department and their funding!
We will probably end up with PBS just like we ended up with "rainmaker"
The automated pay software....
In other words....
They will F%#K it up SO bad, that they will go back to our current line bidding system....
Look back at our history of buying software...
It ain't so great....
So whatever the new TA has in place to deal with before PBS takes place will most likely be what we are going to deal with for 3 years.....
We "bought" rainmaker 3 years ago...
Our pay is STILL hand audited.
And STILL F'ed up...
2000 pilots....
Think about it....

PBS is their incentive, it benefits them, not us.

Still not sure why everyone is so excited about this and the "potential" pay rates. Just a quick look shows that JetBlue's 5 year FO makes more than the proposed one they sent out!
