This is the oldest trick in the book!! hahahah Stay pilots!! stick with your day jobs!!

The plan was always to make F9 pay alot more to get the deal done, Ive seen this movie more than I've seen Top Gun

Hayes and B6 are doing a great job making it so compelling though, Franke doesnt know what to do LOL He's going to end up paying way more than what he wanted, but he'll still get his precious airline back before he hands it over to his son.
I think it has been pretty obvious that JetBlue has had NK in its sights for a long time and were caught off guard by the NK/F9 merger. If the merger never happened I think we would have seen JetBlue make an offer to buy Spirit sometime this year.

NK will be lucky if 2/3 of the pilot group stay anyway if they don’t raise FO pay substantially AND resume upgrades. Any substantial delay is going to fill classes at the Big Three. H€||, we are doing it now. The NK BOD is losing leverage daily. They either negotiate in good faith now or will have worse problems later.

Lol.....18 years and some change. BOS based, but looking to drive to work so DTW would be ideal. Can we be friends?

I think the Spirit guys that are worried are the ones that are like “dude I’m a Senior Spirit pilot.” They’ve been there 7 years. They look across at JB and see a bunch of guys who are ex American, ex Airways, ex TWA who are like “tell me more…”

They feel a lot safer talking to the senior 7 year Frontier guys who will play nice.

Last I checked we were still net positive on FO'S and very few CA'S senior to me have left at the current rates. Your argument doesn't hold water.

And don’t think this takes 2-3 years for a JCBA. Does JBLU zero good having half their fleet flying around as a ULCC, with fenced flying with the pilots
I agree, I don't see a JCBA taking that long. I would guess less than 12 months.

Yeah, NOW. But FOs are CONTINUING to leave and with any CAs AT ALL leaving it doesn’t take very long to have 1/3rd of the people leaving. Can the FOs be readily replaced? Sure. By more FOs…who will ALSO leave.
