And at least from what I see, Robin is playing to win right now.
Honestly, I agree. We’re going to see somewhat of a paradigm shift if JB acquires Spirt. It not only becomes a huge national airline, but Robin fully plans to expand into Europe. From what I’ve heard, Hawaii and 3 other European cities will be announced later this year. He certainly has plans to go even further. An LCC with that kind of presence and a product to go with it will be formidable. When things are running smooth, JB has one of the best products in the industry…hands down. We just need capable management to steer the ship. A lot of moving parts, but there’s a ton of potential with all this.

But you already knew that.
This x1000!!

The whole E-3 visa ordeal is some Jonathan Ornstein level degeneracy. No me gusta.

Been saying it for a long time now. E3 has no absolutely no place at the majors or LCCs. Its a slippery slope. Talk to any honest Auzzie and they will tell you, if any of their airlines tried this there would be strikes and blood in the streets. These temporary Visas should be barred or severely limit the number that can be employed on one before they degrade any shot any of us have at fair and competitive contracts.

More so, rumour has it OO discovered cases of logbook fraud pre-COVID and they are virtually just taken at their good word they don't have a severely checkered past at home. Only are background checked in the US which is pretty useless.

I wonder how many FAs will make the transition to Blue…. “Tell me about your Spirit interview ? ….” , “ Well you see, there was this bus driving around Atlanta and it was the same bus my girl told me about that she saw driving around in Detroit that said free airline travel, so I got on it. They didn’t ax me a lot of questions”

The same Aussie pilots that allowed a "B" scale at Jetstar as a wholly owned discount carrier under their national flag carrier (Qantas)? Me thinks there would be no blood shed.

KLAX to KPIT/PHL/FLL red eye most of our pilots bid to avoid or drop it like a hot potato.

KJFK to EGGL red eye and suddenly it’s exotic and exciting because…..NAT track I guess?

What does the trip footprint/layover timings/credit look like on the special qual routes anyway?

It's exotic and exiting because it's London and not Pit/Phl/FLL? I don't know....throw in Madrid, Amterdam and Paris and now I think more people would be interested. Also working with a 3 person crew, break, good food and lay flat bed. Not quite the same as just a Lax-Pit run. I'm not saying it's for everyone but it is a bit different than the regular old redeye.
