Spirit of NKS
Makes that easy, back to drinking beer! Thanks
Turn lines in Vegas with no Red Eyes and 19 & 20 days off? I wonder if this is an April Fools joke and the real schedules aren't out yet? :-/
Please contact your scheduling committee, about this and any other CS contract violations.
Collect evidence and file a NCC.
Apparently we don't fly planes on April 1st according to the FLL bid packet. Somehow I think those pairings will magically appear after the lines are awarded. Anyone that still thinks we should forego pay rates in favor of this transition language is an idiot.
SCOPE, LTD, Pay, retirement. Did I meantion SCOPE!

Relief lines have been increasing. Is there a maximum?
I would add to that list:
Limiting the number of relief lines, to a max % of total lines/pairings.
Formula for determining min reserves required. (green/red buffer)
Transparent reserve call out list.
BTW, if anyone has been working the BOS-MYR-FLL segment with a 4:30ish am show, that's an illegal pairing. It's a red eye +1, and there are many of them out there.

I can only assume the "spirit" of this language is to prevent a jungle turn redeye from getting you back after the sun comes up. I.E. a GUA turn that departs at 0100, and the second leg departs at 0400 and puts you back at the gate at 0700.
It appears we may be up against just a really early report, with 2 legs. As far as the union/company go. We've been flying this pairing for years. So I'm sure someone has brought it up.

In the contract it states any duty period that touches the hours of 0200-0459 local duty time, and then has a subsequent flight after 0300 LDT qualifies as a red eye +1. That has been verified by the scheduling committee.
Yeah, sorry I've edited my post after I read the language. So what say the scheduling committee dudes? Like I said, we've been flying that particular pairing for years.
