I have noticed in general a pretty good response from other pilots.
Never an issue, but I am sure at our place there are a few that wouldn't even say hello to another Spirit crew walking by.

Jumpseat help
Trying to book jumpseat. The web version will not let me go past date of hire ("please enter a valid date...) It's not checking anything since it won't let me past that entry. I called three phone numbers and was routed all over the company except to someone that can list me. Going to be bugging out of MCO with an hour to spare Christmas Eve so trying to save time by avoiding the ticket counter. Help!

Not sure about your login issue, but you can only list for a Jumpseat some 72 hours in advance.
So you got plenty of time to figure it out...

Since the big hiring even among ourselves, new CAs and new FOs won't even talk while exchanging ACs.. (Just a few) but a few too many. This two yr upgrade is certainly bringing out some personalities.

What's the latest on hiring? Seems that talk has been mute since the last job fair. Are things slow during the holidays or have I just not gotten the memo?!?

There aren't anymore classes for the rest of December for the holidays, but interviews and classes continue after.

If we know each other then I'll stop and exchange a few words but if you're just one of 1000+ guys that dresses like me then I feel like the above should suffice.
As far as saying hi goes to other pilots at the same airline or any other airline, why? Do all the accountants in the airport give a head nod and a hey to each other? I do it but it's silly IMO.

There's not 400 pilots anymore. Are we all supposed to bullshiit for 10 minutes when I'm trying to get home for dinner or to the hotel van? A "how's it going, good plane" should be fine.
