It's a growing airline that sells it's own tickets and makes lots of money. Should you apply elsewhere, maybe... but it's not all doom and gloom.
The ULCC business model works. If you need an international planning room and gate agents that have been with the company for 35 years then this isn't the place for you.
That being said I'm not a low cost pilot and will not vote for anything less than industry pay rates.
A perfectly rational and logical post....there's no place for that here, sir.

Your pay is so low that you'd give up flying, 15-19 days off a month to get a normal job?

You're really not doing it right then.

Our hourly pay rate is low, but let's not be ridiculous and start thinking a desk job would be better.

Default 320 NEO Not There Yet

Here's a link to an article with Lufthansa's 320 NEO issues. It looks like this thing isn't ready for NK Prime Time, yet.

Q: What does this onboard snack item have in common with a Spirit First Officer?

A: Neither one can feed a family of 4!

I agree it is funny, but if you can't feed a family of 4 on 80,000 a year, what are you trying to feed them? For the record I'm looking for United pay in the next contract too.

Are you kidding me?

My 20 year old 2,600 sqft house with .19acres cost me $375,000 and the taxes are $11,000 a year. Day care is $800/month PER KID.

Are you out of your mind?

$80,000 is POVERTY in NJ

In mgmt's mind ULCC applies to all costs. Weare supposed to be a ULCPG to them (Ultra Low Cost Pilot Group)
