I don't think burning the extra gas (to keep people cool) would be enough to get any attention. But as others have said, just don't go the extra mile. Around here that will easily result in delayed flights that will continue all day. Remember, the plan is to achieve a better experience for our passengers. Seems like our on time performance is never where Bendo would "like it to be" per his podcasts. But if we don't pick up the slack, it probably never will be. Let's all be safe and prudent pilots everybody!

For the record, I'm an ORD pilot, he seems to be doing a fine job to me.

Oh and nice first post - troll!
Ahh yes. The, "I gotta get mine" mantra. Apparently there are two different rates for FO vs. CA.

Good for him for being able to walk away with a higher paycheck. It pays to know people in high places. I wanna be Jyri's friend!

Whomever fills the position is paid what they are paid. It's a management job. Therefore Alpa has no control over its qualifications or compensation package. If you're interested apply. If not quit trolling.

Funny, I'm an absolute miserable prick when it comes to this place but Teo, Carl & Ryan are all pretty great. Seems the only aspect this place got right

1.) If the position has a "captain" requirement, there's a red flag.

2.) If the position doesn't require one to be captain, is he being paid a management salary on a "captain" scale when he should be paid on a "fo" scale?

I've heard he's one of Jyri's check airman buddies from Eagle.

Looks like someone is getting a sweet deal here.
He isn't bidding. He's paid as a Mgr, not a line pilot. LT is also the most helpful CP I've ever delt with in my whole career. Who cares what he did before. BTW, he was well liked at Eagle.

I hope they get it. Can they write me a recommendation? Be nice to your fos because they may be your captain one day.
