Anyone know if UA has pairing that are transcon + 1 (or 2)? If it does exist, how regular are they? Are there any pairings with 3 legs with the second leg being in a transcon?

Yes, doing an IAD-EWR, 1 hour sit, then EWR-SEA next month… that’s about the limit. It’s a 2 day trip with a SEA-IAD the next afternoon. It’s being flown daily on the 757 in June.

Yes, but the typical construction would be E-W daytime, 25 hour layover, red eye back. 15-hr 3 day.

Are these SFO slots going junior in classes? Since it’s also 756 and not 73, would it be difficult to get back to EWR? Seems like the 756 and WB slots in EWR are drying up.

Thinking about applying to UA as I live in the Chicago area. Are ORD slots ever available in class? If not, how long can a new hire expect to wait to bid to ORD? I'm not particular over airframe as much as not commuting.

Dude, live your life but if you take an SFO slot with the hope to get back to EWR instead of an actual EWR assignment that pays the same and does not lock you out of immediate WB vacancies, then just log off and set your laptop on fire because you are immune to listening to advice on here.
