Yes, part of me wishes I went the multi turbo prop 135 cargo route instead of regionals, but those bridges to OMNI, ATLAS , UPS, FEDEX didn't exist 2.5 yrs ago.

I was insinuating piston time as the ME:SE ratio is about what you'd expect from a career instructor. If it were ME turbine he'd have a lot more of it by 4k TT.

Yeah you're right guys, I've had the unfortunate luck of waiting 5 years for a green card, hence the time spent as a Flight Instructor. ATP is restricted because XC time, don't get much of that doing checkrides. Thanks for the info!

Just wondering with the bases listed here on APC is Omni AI gateway or truly home based?
Also do you break guarantee regularly, never or sometimes?
Any rumor on when or if hiring may commence for 2019?

What do you mean by "truly home based"?

Sometimes. September-November were pretty busy, at least on the 777.

Hiring is ongoing, supposedly 100+ new hires for 2019. I'd imagine a window will open February-ish for a couple weeks.

Default Difference

Huge difference. Either they get you a ticket from your home airport, or you have to get to a gateway on your own time. For those looking at QOL, that difference matters.

Hubs, thanks for the insight. My question on being truly home based is will they buy me a ticket from my home airport or would I have to make my own way to one of these listed gateway airports? But after reading the contract on another forum, I don’t believe my home airport would be approved.

If you're living in the USA there are just about enough airports to live anywhere your heart desires. There is no functional difference (maybe if you live in Buford, Wyoming it's an issue). But you are "home based" and must be able to get to your gateway within 2 hours. Not sure what the confusion is. You can always try to get alternate travel or make a longer drive as long as you can do the 2 hour window on a short call day (1 per month usually). Long call is 10-ish hours.

They will not because we do not have assigned bases like Atlas. We also don't travel before or after duty days to get from or to home.

Can someone please PM me average first year take home pay?
How many hours a month do people typically credit?
How many days are you gone if you pick up overtime?
