One line works first half of month, the second the last half. The next lines are split into two smaller chunks. There’s also a reserve line. Small base, 5 CA and 5 FO. It is junior on the FO side and a new hire can hold it.

I was displaced onto the LAS flying one month when I was new. I made sure to bid with a check airman and I was bought off all my trips. I only had to jumpseat to LAS once to sit short call and I jumpsat back home the next day. Scheduling was nice enough to just put me on regular flying right after that. VH Flying ran for October only and was canned again until 2022 I think. I guess bookings weren’t what they hoped for.

Haven’t read through entire thread. Anyone have an interview gouge? Interview order? Things to study? Do/don'ts…etc? Thanks in advance.

Random question, I’ve flown with some previous Boeing pilots, they all seemed to prefer crosshair Flight directors. Does the 767 and 777 have chevrons as well as crosshairs?

I can’t speak to the 777. The 76 flight director is crosshairs only.

They're all crosshairs. I didn't like it, either. Tough luck for me. One adjusts.

They are called Dual Cue and they aren’t just on Boeing airplanes. The Space Shuttle and the Concord used them, so there must be some merit to their usage.
