Agree. However I am worried that an arbitrator will see the company’s point. While I agree with and support the union’s interpretation, I can see how an arbitrator would disagree. Bird in the hand vs 2 in the bush, if we are given something extra that just allows them to fly35 planes they were already allowed to fly (pre compass closure) that might be a positive vs taking it to arbitration and losing.
because of this I am very torn, on the one hand I REALLY don’t want to give an inch on scope, on the other if they are going to be allowed to fly those planes anyway, might as well try to get something for them.

Reimagining our talent strategy.
- Removing qualification barriers for roles that do not require college degrees, allowing equal consideration for experience or certifications, which are more equitably accessible.
Convenient that Delta has accepted a flow agreement which may shadow ED’s vision of hiring by the time pilots start to be hired.

ED’s commitment after the George Floyd murder. Reimagining our talent strategy.

WOW I missed that one. While I don’t necessarily have a strong opinion on making a degree mandatory, I figured it would be a cold day in hell before DL dropped their degree requirement. Figured us and FedEx would never give that one up.
