It was assigned to a couple of classes in March. Idk how many slots are left from the previous AE, but I’m sure it will be available to NHs again in the not-too-distant future.

Something to think about before all you soon to be hired guys start drooling at the prospect of getting into the 767-400 as a first jet, you have to go thru the entire 757-767 syllabus first (with all the differences therein... THEN go to a differences course. (unless things have changed in recent years). I'm not sure if you have to do 757-767 OE or not, but at least it used to be that way.

Why are people so averse to training, outside of having to be on Virginia avenue and away from family? People keep talking about how they would bid XYZ, but don’t want to train so they don’t. Training isn’t hard and it isn’t painful. It is never in my calculus for career moves and I was surprised that it is for others. It’s a drop in the bucket.

Not just ER through the 300s, but but mostly 757 sim 4 through the 300s, then the -400 sim. I can’t remember what name the training department had for 757-4, but it was far more polite than it deserves (under the most generous circumstances). That said, the -400 is really nice to fly, and the transatlantic schedule is back enough that the May bid pack had a long list of discontinued domestic overnights.

Thank you! Am trying to understand reserve. I have a business at home and would like to be on reserve on the weekends. I appreciate all the time you guys take to help out these ignorant junior people lol.
how does the last day of reserve work? At my current company they can push me into 7 am on my day off following the last day of reserve. Any quick take on how the final day of the rotation goes?

Bid your golden days for the first day off after a rsv stretch and if you're lucky enough to not be flying they have to release you by noon.
