I had this exact situation last week. I sent an STS inquiry about it. ALPA said I was due money and to fill out an STS report about it. I would suggest doing the same. If it costs them money they will quit doing it.
There is a SC log on Icrew you can look at to see if others yellow slipped them. I didn’t know about that log so I think others might not as well.

We can start my “establishing Reserve rotation guarantee” , and paying all penalties above Reserve Guarantee.

This is why we need punitive consequences to the company. They do the math and realize it’s cheaper to just pay for the few that get caught. The ‘cost’ must increase to change the wanton illegal behavior.

Also God forbid you ever need to get paid for a training violation, they’re worse than scheduling. Took almost a year to get paid for an illegal line check (6 am report first day of LC).

It’s rampant and intentional. It’s tolerated if not outright encouraged all the way up the chain. Exhibit 1 should be “it’s not a violation….”

How can you even show up at 0600 on day 1? You could have just not acknowledged/answered your phone/shown up and they wouldn't have had a leg to stand on, correct?
