There was one question on the survey about defining the time from notification to report for short call.

define as 2 hours
define as 3 hours
define as 4 hours
leave as is

curious what everyone’s thoughts are on this? I personally put define as 4 hours. 3-4 hours defined would be awesome IMO. Especially with the wild number of overlapping SC time slots.

I selected 4 hours as well. That opens up a lot more options where yes you can sit SC at home currently but you may be in a very grey area when it comes to being “in the vicinity” of your base. Defining it as 2 hours would be a concession.

I voted leave as is.

Wanna see RR go crazy, we try to define it as 4 hours

yes. Reroute pay would certainly suck. 🤔

Sounds like you're just lazy for not knowing your PWA...

Notebook LM is a good start. An AI chatbot on the DALPA website would be a good start. The tech is there to query and respond in English with references for verification.

I selected "leave as is", I like it being nebulous and not defined.

Leave as is, the grey area is a benefit to us.

Yes. Because let's say if it changes to 3 hours call to gate, you can be sure they will make examples out of the guy who gets to gate in 3:10 after getting called to the furthest of the 3(NYC) in rush hour, in a snowstorm. And then the employee bus is running late. And it's gate B55. After a KCM random.

This right here, IMO. I highly doubt the company would ever give us 4 hours, and even 3 would be tough.

If it became defined, there would be discipline if you scanned on 0:01 late. Absolutely not worth it, IMO.
