Yeah, nobody ever one thumb fumbles the awesome user interface when it responds slowly. <eyeroll>

It does say you are moved to the bottom of list, but I saw over half a dozen short callers with one day of availability on a Tuesday no less.
If you are only referring to SC, that’s true. Just want to be sure folks know you can still get an assignment for a 1-day rotation that releases at 2359.

CNO has called trying to assign rest multiple times (including last month when I was a REG but during an OFF day), however I've never answered or ackd anything in MiCrew or iCrew. I've never had a live Crew Scheduler call and leave a VM. I'm going into a single non-golden X-day so it will only be 24 hours of rest.

I can't remember the exact name but I know the Co was trying out preposting 30hrs of rest throughout the month...as far as I can tell they still have to legally notify you of that but I searched some emails and couldn't find any info on that.

Basically I'm just trying to make sure I'm not missing anything on a 30/168. TIA

correct me if I'm wrong, but I think pre-posted rest is usually caught by your requirement to be notified of something on your last x day before a reserve block. Or a required schedule check after a trip.

Last x-day before reserve block (coming off a non-fly day) only makes you responsible for reporting for something in the 10-18 hour carveout period. No acknowledgement/notification required. You just have to show up (or sit a SC.) Assigned/pre-posted rest isn't really a factor here.

As for post-block in required schedule check... I'm still unclear that a far-into-the-future pre-posted rest has to be acknowledged during this check. I'm currently assuming it is indeed a part of that check pending further guidance.

To deal with this, I have been doing my post-rotation schedule check by calling the VRU. It might get you for rest periods later that month, but I have not yet had it notify for me the rest they have already pre-posted in the next month.

Yes, they still to give you proper and legal notification for those rest periods, with the exception of if they catch you on a post-rotation schedule check.

Lots of good input, thanks everyone.

I still haven't done any assignments on reserve so I haven't had to do a post-block in schedule check. Also I started the month with a LC day and was REG in the previous month so I didn't have to do the schedule check then either, I'm kind of hanging my hat on that as far as keeping me clear.

Please note there is no required schedule check coming off a non-fly day. What is required is that you must make yourself aware of any assignments that report between 10 and 18 hours after the start of LC. That wording is a key distinction. There are several ways to determine if such an assignment has been made without viewing your schedule (on icrew or micrew) and seeing any future notifications. The easiest places to check are the SC Assignment History to see if you've been given a SC assignment, and the Daily Trip Coverage page to see if you have a rotation. You could even have a friend look up your schedule and send you a screenshot.

As others have said, when you view your schedule in icrew, any future rest assignments in that bid period would have to be seen, and I don't see a way to argue that you weren't aware. Future bid period rest periods can remain unknown until you either choose to self acknowledge or are required to view your schedule on a post-rotation schedule check, or a scheduler calls to properly notify you. I haven't tried using the IVR to see if it notifies you of a future rest in the current bid peiod, but I'd assume that it would.

Simply viewing your schedule in iCrew does not equal notification of rest, except for the mandatory post-rotation schedule check on reserve.
